TheLineBtwn is delighted to announce the second talk of our series #TheLineBtwnTalks that takes place every two months at WeWork Soho West. Our goal is to engage in discussions with renowned professionals on the latest news, perspectives and ideas on digital marketing in the cultural and creative industries.
The second talk will revolve around how the use of big data/analytics will affect us both as consumers and citizens. We will have speakers from three different areas: Fashion (private sector), government (public sector) and Environmental, Social and Governance (mix between both private and public sectors.)
Our panelists will be:
- Liza Kindred, founder of fashion tech think tank Third Wave Fashion, editor of Third Wave Magazine, and frequent consultant for fashion, technology, and wearable tech brands. She will share insights about fashion and big data gleaned from the annual Fashioning Data report.
- Susanne Katus, VP Business Development at eRevalue, a women-led technology that offers Datamaran, an emerging issues management system that delivers real-time data on new forms of regulatory, reputational, and competitive risk for corporate decision-making. Susanne will talk about how technology is a game changer in this field.
- Leslie Harper/Daniel Sánchez (to be confirmed), team leaders at DataGov (Inter-American Development Bank), a high-profile initiative that provides 800 public management indicators to users around the world. Leslie/Daniel will exchange views on how governance and public data can have an impact on citizens’ lives.
Tickets: The event is free and open to the public. Please RSVP on EventBrite to register and gain access to the wine & cheese reception.
